NEW SPIDER-MAN TRILOGY PLANNED

In an interview with Fandango, producer Amy Pascal revealed that Sony and Marvel are already plotting three new movies with Holland attached. “This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie. We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel, it just isn’t part of… we’re thinking of this as three films, and now we’re going to go on to the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies," she said.

Tom Holland recently described No Way Home as the end of the cycle of Spider-Man 'Home' movies but did not confirm whether or not future web-spinning adventures were on the cards for him. Marvel Studios have made no comment about the character's MCU future. And, Sony insiders are reported as saying there are no official plans for a trilogy at the moment.

So, if there are more Spidey movies, what would you like to see next? A Venom team-up? Miles Morales? Superior Spider-Man? The Beetle?

Jon Watts returns as director for Spider-Man: No Way Home, with Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers writing the script. Tom Holland (Peter Parker), Zendaya (MJ) and Jacob Batalon (Ned) are all returning, with Benedict Cumberbatch reprising his role as Doctor Strange, Amazing Spider-Man 2's Jamie Foxx as Electro and Spider-Man 2's Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is due out on December 15, 2021.
