MATRIX 4 GETS TITLE AND TRAILER

The new Matrix movie has a title and a trailer, though we will have to wait a while to see that.

Out this December The Matrix Resurrections sees the return of Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss to the franchise as Neo and Trinity, with original co-director Lana Wachowski helming the project. Wachowski had been working on a script with Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell (Cloud Atlas).

At the private CinemaCon event, Warner Bros. shared several new movie clips, including new scenes from The Batman, and the first glimpse of the new Matrix movie. Reports describe a scene with Thomas Anderson (Reeves) in therapy, telling his therapist (Neil Patrick Harris), "I had dreams that weren’t just dreams. Am I crazy?" Anderson lacks memory of the Matrix and Trinity, who he bumps into at a coffee shop. Neither seem to know each other, though they feel a connection. Anderson is on a prescription of blue pills and wondering why everyone else is obsessed by their phones. Anderson then encounters a character played by Aquaman'Yahya Abdul-Mateen II who hands him a red pill, and we're off again, with Neo reborn, along with powers such as telekinesis.

Hopefully we can share the trailer soon!

The Matrix Resurrections is due for release on December 22.
