Hawkeye premiere

Disney+ have shared the premiere date for the Marvel series Hawkeye.

The Avengers spin-off will launch on the streaming service on November 24. Care of Entertainment Weekly, we also get a new pic from the show too, showing Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld as Clint Barton and Kate Bishop.

Renner said of the show, "[Kate is] a 22-year-old kid and she's a big Hawkeye fan. She has a wonderfully annoying and equally charming manner about her, because she's such a fangirl of Hawkeye. The relationship grows from that, but the biggest problem for Clint is Kate Bishop and the onslaught of problems that she brings into his life."

Other stars in the series include Vera (Up in the Air) FarmigaFlorence (Black Widow) PughFra (Les Misérables) Fee (top row, left to right, below), Tony (Better Call Saul) Dalton, newcomer Alaqua Cox and Zahn (Doctor Sleep) McClarnon (bottom row, left to right, below).

Farmiga will play Eleanor Bishop, the mother of Kate; Fee plays a character named Kazi, who is possibly the Marvel villain named Kazimierz Kazimierczak, aka Clown; Dalton portrays Jack Duquesne, the Avenger known as Swordsman, a mentor to Hawkeye in the comic-books and, briefly, an Avenger; Pugh will reprise her Black Widow role of Yelena Belova, the sister to Scarlett Johansson's Natasha; Cox plays Maya Lopez, the Marvel hero Echo, a deaf Native American who can copy another fighter's movements; and McClarnon is William Lopez, who is most likely Echo's father, Willie "Crazy Horse" Lincoln.

Hawkeye is being directed by Amber Finlayson and Katie Ellwood, the team behind Amazon’s Troop Zero, and Saturday Night Live director Rhys Thomas. Mad Men's Jonathan Igla is scripting the series.

Hawkeye premieres on Disney+ on November 24.
